Task:
To develop a clip-on cable duct with an additional function: to serve as a carpet transition strip in the passenger cabin of an aircraft. The challenge: strict fire protection requirements, long-term durability and the development of a precise loadable geometry which is easy to process.

Solution:
The first series-quality samples were produced within three weeks. The material: polyamide 12 of flame-proof quality. The cable duct consists of two parts which means that a clean transition between floor coverings can be created without any problems. The material which keeps its shape and precise processing ensure reliable durability, even with repeated removal and replacement of the cable duct. The first series profiles were supplied within three weeks.
