Housing for inclination error measurement sensors

Task:
To develop a housing with clips for the sensors used to measure inclination error in trucks. Specific requirements: the material must have good insulating properties in order to protect the function of the sensors and must be resistant to aggressive substances in the harsh environment of the chassis.

Solution:
Series-quality samples were produced within two weeks. The material used – 25% glass-fibre reinforced polyamide 6.6 – provides the strength required and is processed with the precision required by means of the Technoform high-end extrusion process in order to ensure that the components which clip together are held securely.
