Locating and cover profile for control cabinets

Task:
To develop a reliable mounting rail to be used for electrical control cabinets. Specific requirements: to integrate a power supply in the mounting system and to ensure that components can be positioned and fixed precisely. In addition, industry-specific fire protection provisions were to be complied with.

Solution:
Series-quality samples were produced within two weeks. The profile was developed using polyamide 6 VO. The Technoform high-end extrusion process allows narrow tolerances of  0.05 mm, thus guaranteeing the precise positioning of the conductive copper elements and mounting clips, and reliably supports the fault-free operation of the electrics. The material is halogen-free and yellow card certification is held in accordance with statutory provisions. The first series profiles were supplied within three weeks.
